VACANCIES

COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT

The Communications Officer ensures that the branding, marketing, promoting, and collaboration strategies of George Town World Heritage Incorporated are conducted in a highly professional manner. He or she supports the Department of Communications and Collaborations in coordinating press conferences, developing press statements, and enhancing publicity strategies to promote the work of the organisation.

EDUCATION PROGRAMME OFFICER

The Education Programme Officer plays a central role in curating and executing education programmes to increase the targeted audience’s understanding and appreciation of heritage conservation in George Town. The Education Programme Officer is involved in all aspects of programme development, coordination and delivery of activities and reporting.

FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS OFFICER

The Finance and Accounts Officer is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash control, preparing payroll and personnel administration, monitoring and processing purchasing matters, and maintaining accounts payable. She or he supports the Department of Administration and Finance.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

The Information Technology Officer manages the daily operational IT needs of the organisation, as well as designs and implements the appropriate IT policies and procedures. She or he is also responsible for ensuring the continuity of business, which includes instituting an effective disaster recovery management plan.

PERSONAL ASSISTANT TO THE
GENERAL MANAGER

The Personal Assistant manages the daily operation of the General Manager’s office such as facilitating the timely flow of documents, communication and messages to and from the General Manager, as well as establishing and arranging the appointments for the General Manager. The incumbent works under the direct supervision of the General Manager.
