FREE DISASTER RISK MANAGEMENT POSTERS
In our efforts to promote disaster risk management, George Town World Heritage Incorporated (GTWHI) has published a series of awareness posters which the public can take for free and display at their homes and business premises.
The A3-sized posters on Flood and Fire aim to educate the public on disaster mitigation and preparedness, especially in the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site. The information on the posters is provided via eye-catching graphics and easy-to-understand steps that anyone can follow during an emergency.
Available in four languages – English, Malay, Chinese, and Tamil – the posters can be collected for free at the GTWHI office in Lebuh Acheh during office hours on weekdays.
The printable versions are also available for download here:

It is a collaborative project between GTWHI, UNESCO Jakarta, and Malaysia Funds-in-Trust.
