She joined the organisation in October 2016 with a strong passion to make George Town a remarkable UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ai Kheng graduated from Nanjing University, China with a bachelor&#8217;s degree in Chinese Language and Literature, and has worked in the local media industry for 18 years where she has produced in-depth, extensive pieces on cultural heritage. Prior to joining the organisation, Ai Kheng has been involved as a surveyor and writer for their Revitalising Intangible Cultural Heritage Project in 2012, which then culminated in the publication of George Town: Our Stories in 2014. She has also been invited as guest speaker to tell stories about George Town. With her rich journalism experience, Ai Kheng now manages projects such as the Oral History Documentation Project, Cultural Heritage Education Programme and Community-based Intangible Cultural Heritage Inventorying in George Town. Beliau menyertai GTWHI pada Oktober 2016 dengan semangat yang kuat untuk menjadikan George Town sebagai Tapak Warisan Dunia UNESCO yang menakjubkan. Ai Kheng berjaya mendapat ijazah sarjana muda dalam Bahasa dan Kesusasteraan Cina dari Universiti Nanjing, China, dan telah bekerja dalam industri media tempatan selama 18 tahun di mana beliau telah menghasilkan karya yang mendalam dan luas tentang warisan budaya. Sebelum menyertai pertubuhan tersebut, Ai Kheng telah terlibat sebagai penyelidik dan penulis untuk Projek Revitalising Intangible Cultural Heritage pada tahun 2012, yang kemudiannya melahirkan penerbitan George Town: Kisah-kisah Kami pada tahun 2014. Beliau juga telah dijemput sebagai penceramah jemputan untuk menceritakan kisah tentang George Town. Dengan pengalaman di bidang warisan kebudayaan, Ai Kheng kini menguruskan projek-projek seperti Projek Pemetaan Sejarah Lisan, Program Pendidikan Warisan Budaya, dan Inventori Warisan Budaya Tidak Ketara Berdasarkan Komuniti di George Town.
