Request for Proposal (RFP) for George Town Festival 2021 and 2022
George Town World Heritage Incorporated is calling for proposals from qualified parties to curate, manage, and execute George Town Festival 2021 and 2022.
The proposer is responsible for managing the execution of all aspects of George Town Festival 2021 and 2022, including concept development, planning, programming, budget management, and promotional strategy, with RM3 million allocated for each fiscal year.
The Request for Proposal (RFP) process is in accordance with the principle of competency, accountability and transparency in the awarding of projects by George Town World Heritage Incorporated. All parties who are interested to be the contractor of George Town Festival are welcome to submit their proposal within the time given.
Inaugurated in 2010, George Town Festival celebrates the richness and unique diversity of our arts, culture, and heritage, using George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site as the main platform. The Festival allows inclusive participation of the local communities, who will have direct access to the arts. Both local and international artists will also be provided with the opportunity of collective cultural exchange and dialogue, and instil an appreciation for the role of arts, culture, and heritage in Penang.
