ABOUT ME
Tan Khai Li is the Cultural Heritage Assistant for George Town World Heritage Incorporated. Although Tan is just a university fresh-grad, she has harboured great interest towards the history, heritage and culture of George Town since early childhood days. This interest was immensely enhanced after she finished her internship at a local publishing house that focuses on sharing the humanism tales of Penang.
I am a grateful Site Manager because I am able to participate and involve myself in contributing to the development and improvement of George Town as a World Heritage Site. I am also proud that I am able to witness the admiration and appreciation of the community towards our heritage buildings and our distinctive and multi-coloured cultures. It is also fulfilling and eye-opening for me to experience working in the heart of Penang, George Town.
