ABOUT ME
Chew Yee joined George Town World Heritage Incorporated in 2025 as a Communications Assistant. Passionate about capturing moments and the rhythm of the city, she sees George Town as a living story and enjoys documenting the connections between people and places. With a background in creative screen and journalism, she values clarity, warmth, and meaningful storytelling in her work. Experiencing festivals and live events in George Town always inspires her to explore new ways of promoting and presenting the richness and diversity of the site.
I am a inspired site manager because I am easily moved by the people, culture and sense of belonging that make George Town so unique. I carry out my work with care and responsibility, and feel deeply grateful for the opportunity to contribute and be part of the preservation of living heritage. With an open heart and a willingness to learn, I strive to strengthen my communication skills and develop my potential in promoting George Town as a sustainable heritage city.
