ABOUT ME
Vick Quah is the Manager of Department of Communications and Collaborations at George Town World Heritage Incorporated, with a strong understanding of the complexities of major events, especially the delivery of excellent audio-visual experiences for the audience. Through detailed planning and coordination of the event’s design, production and logistics, he is responsible for ensuring the efficient, high quality execution of the organisation’s workshops, conferences and the annual heritage celebrations. Vick has worked on both small and large-scale event assignments, locally and internationally, with extensive experience in the pre-production, production and post-production stages. His active involvement in a wide range of assignments boosted his events management career particularly in the areas of logistical arrangements, sound and lighting systems, and preparation of event materials. Highly skilled in the fields of multimedia design and visual communication, Vick has a flair for photography and videography. As a tech-savvy person, he cannot live without gadgets, and enjoys playing video games in his free time. Food (amongst other wonders in life) is his main motivation to wake up every morning.
I am a versatile Site Manager because I transition across different facets of work to troubleshoot, provide support and assist all departments. My zeal for practical and technical skills established my competent understanding towards the fundamentals of events management and information technology. I often channel my creativity through cameras and computers, particularly by developing visuals and editing images or videos. Facilitating group and school visits is also my secret to being young not only by age, but also by heart.
